There are three gags in that last frame. Count 'em. Three.
By themselves they would all be acceptable lines to end on, if a bit mundane, but all three together and it's hilarious and kinetic. The eye also travels from Dad to Mom to Calvin, which is the order of the lines in increasing bestness. You know what I mean.
